The pair reignited many fans enjoyment of the sport last season, as they traded crashes, insults and race wins, and went into the final day of the season level on points.
It ended up coming down to a dramatic final lap, as a crash put Hamilton, leading the race, in Verstappen's crosshairs, and the Red Bull Racing driver had much fresher tyres.
The last lap will go down in history and now fans can enjoy it all again in this year's Drive to Survive series, and the clip of build up to it has been shared.
Nicholas Latifi's late crash caused the safety car to come out, with Hamilton far in the lead ahead of Verstappen and on his way to an eighth Driver's world title.

However, being in second place allowed the Red Bull driver to go into the pits and get new tyres, whilst the Mercedes driver knew going in would lead to the Dutchman staying out and getting ahead of him.

Initially it looked like there wouldn't be enough time and that the race director would rather allow a lap of driving with the lapped cars, however he controversially changed his mind and instead only allowed the cars between the leaders to go, and then go racing again.
It allowed Verstappen to easily overtake Hamilton, thanks to his fresher tyres, and take his first world title.

Speaking exclusively to SPORTbible recently, McLaren driver Lando Norris revealed he felt that Hamilton losing, though not in the way he did, was actually good for the sport.
"I think we're just nice to see someone else win, not like I have anything against Lewis, but just for the sport," the English driver told us.
"Nice to see someone else have a go, and see the battles throughout the whole season."
