Newcastle have made an offer for Bundesliga star Youssoufa Moukoko, who has also attracted interest from Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea.
According to journalist Patrick Berger, Newcastle are targeting Moukoko, and have already made a “verbal agreement” to sign the 18-year-old, whose contract expires at Dortmund in the summer.
The Magpies are reportedly offering the player a £26million signing-on fee, on top of £7.95million yearly salary at the club.

Finalising a deal with for the German international would be a significant coup for the Saudi-backed Newcastle, who would be beating several of England’s biggest clubs to his signature.
Indeed, United have been linked with an array of attacking players, including Moukoko. Erik ten Hag’s side are in dire need of a striker, with only Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial capable of playing the central striker position upon the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo.
However, the Old Trafford club are working under financial constraints, after a hefty summer outlay and are instead exploring cheap and short-term options, like Wout Weghorst.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are in the middle of a rebuilding job of their own and have also been linked with a move for Moukoko, while Chelsea are said to be interested in the 18-year-old.
Moukoko’s wish
Dortmund have been trying to tie Moukoko down to a new deal for months, but have struggled to meet the teenager’s wage demands.
