Manchester United striker Wout Weghorst has previously revealed that he dreamt of playing for Liverpool.
Weghorst, 30, recently joined United on loan from Burnley until the end of the season in a surprise transfer move from the Red Devils.
He has started both matches since his arrival, a 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park and Sunday's dramatic 3-2 defeat to Premier League leaders Arsenal at the Emirates.

The Netherlands international, who spent the first half of the season on loan at Turkish club Besiktas, is still searching for his first goal at United.
After joining the club, Weghorst told United fans it was a "fantastic feeling to now have the chance to pull on the famous red shirt".
But if his past comments are anything to go by, Weghorst would have preferred to play in the Red of United's bitter rivals Liverpool instead.
Weghorst 'dreamt' of playing for Liverpool
Speaking to Goal and DAZN in 2020, Weghorst expressed his admiration for the Merseyside club.

"I always found Liverpool very special. I still get goosebumps from 'You'll Never Walk Alone'. There are other great English clubs too, and I always liked Milan because so many Dutch played there," Weghorst said.
"I am ambitious and want to get ahead. Maybe at some point play at another club, whether in Germany or in England? But at the moment it is still far away. I feel good and try to achieve the maximum here."
Two years earlier, he told Dutch outlet De Telegraaf: "I've dreamt of [playing for Liverpool] since childhood."
Weghorst could come up against Liverpool later this season when United travel to face the Reds at Anfield on March 4.

Up next for United, however, is the first leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final away to Nottingham Forest on Wednesday.
