A homeless man in Argentina has gone viral, after he broke down in tears of joy when he was given an Argentina shirt, following the World Cup win.
There was plenty of drama and tension during the World Cup final on Sunday afternoon, with Argentina looking like they might throw away what had been a very comfortable 2-0 lead.
Of course, winning it in any circumstances but with they way the game went, and with Lionel Messi finally securing the world title, there was an extra outpouring of emotion.

The scenes in Buenos Aires immediately following the final penalty were something really special, and the noise could be heard throughout virtually empty streets.
Now more footage has shown one fan giving a homeless man a shirt so he can join in with celebrations, and he understandably breaks down with emotion, as you can see in the video below.
"He needed a moment of happiness and he got it, that's the beauty of football," one fan said.

"As an American I really can't truly comprehend the meaning when people say, 'football is a religion,'" a second added, "But then I see videos like these and can understand that for so many people it is very true and real.
"He looked ready to cry and pray and I'm glad he at least got uplifted with it."
A third said, "Dude took the shirt right off his own back and gave it to him. Wow!"
Tapping into the time of year, a fourth noted, "Spontaneous acts of kindness. That’s The Christmas Spirit. His tears of happiness weren’t fake."

Many others simply noted that they'd been left in tears watching the fan be so overcome with emotion from the simplest of gestures.
It was the third time that the South American country had been crowned champions of the world, but the first time they'd done it since 1986.
As well as that, it's the first time they've captured the trophy outside of the Americas, having won it in 1978 in Argentina and again eight years later, this time in Mexico.

Perhaps that bodes well for three and a half years time when the tournament once again arrives in North America, with USA, Canada and Mexico hosting the 48 team tournament.
With an extended amount of teams, fans can actually look forward to watching as many as six games a day during the group stages.
Celebrations weren't just kept to directly after the match, with Messi and his teammates met by an incredible support on their return to the country.
