Ghanaian footballer Mohammed Anas is responsible for one of the most memorable interview moments in recent memory - an accidental thank you to his "wife and girlfriend".
After his side recorded a 2-2 draw against Ajax Cape Town in 2017, Free State Stars FC striker Anas was deservedly named Man of the Match after scoring a brace in the Premier Soccer League clash.
He was delighted with his performance and thanked his wife when talking to the camera but moments later, Anas thanked his girlfriend - a slip of the tongue that was soon viewed by millions around the world.
Anas quickly denied his own claims, and explained that he calls his daughter "girlfriend".
"My family knows that I call my daughter my girlfriend," he told The BBC. "That's what I was talking about. I don't have a girlfriend."
The 27-year-old was full of love and affection for his wife. "I love her so much," he added. "She's given me two beautiful children. She is fine. She knows what kind of man I am so I am not worried.
"I'm famous now - people around the world know me."
