Real Madrid are set to tie down three of their brightest young stars by inserting the same huge release clause into each of their new contracts.

European and Spanish champions Madrid are set to include a €1bn (£861m) release clause into their new deals for Brazilian trio Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo and Eder Militao, according to reports.

Respected transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims all three players will commit their futures to Madrid by signing the new contracts.

Vinicius Jr will put pen to paper on a new four-year deal to keep him at the Bernabeu until 2026, while Militao will sign a six-year contract until 2028.

Rodrygo will also sign a six-year deal, according to Marca journalist Mario Cortegana.

Vinicius Jr, 21, has been rewarded with an improved contract after a stunning breakout season that saw him score 22 goals in 52 games in all competitions, including the decisive goal in the Champions League final victory over Liverpool.

Paris Saint-Germain had been linked with the Brazil international but he is set to remain at the Bernabeu after being offered a reported salary of £34.3m per season.

Vinicius Jr had previously signalled his intention to remain with Madrid, telling SporTV: "I will continue in the biggest club in the world.

"This is just the beginning. I have many things to conquer. I hope to have many trophies at the end of my career."

His compatriot Rodrygo, 21, is also set to remain with Madrid after scoring nine goals in 49 games last season.

Meanwhile, Militao, 24, has also been rewarded with a new deal after forming a formidable defensive partnership with David Alaba last season.

All three players are expected to sign their new contracts in the coming days once they have returned for pre-season training ahead of the new campaign.

Madrid face rivals Barcelona in their first pre-season friendly in Las Vegas on July 23, with their opening La Liga match coming away at Almeria on August 14.
