Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold hasn't given up on playing Champions League football next season but admits he was disappointed by Sunday's draw with Arsenal.
Liverpool held the Premier League leaders to a 2-2 draw at Anfield and were unlucky to come away with just a point after dominating the second half.
Mohamed Salah also missed a penalty for the home side, while Ibrahima Konate wasted a chance in the closing moments to secure all three points for Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp's side remain eighth in the table after the draw, 12 points off the top four, but Alexander-Arnold insists he hasn't given up on Champions League football just yet.
"Ibou had a big chance and obviously the pen. It's one of those days. We did all we could," Alexander-Arnold told Liverpoolfc.com.
"We take the point and try to improve it next week. We've got a full week to go and train, and that's what we need to go and do.
"We have our targets and it's going to be difficult to get Champions League football now I think. But it's still mathematically possible, so as long as that's possible then that's what we go for.

"We're not in the position we want to be in at all but there's still nine games to go. That's where our heads are at – let's go and try to win all nine."
Neville questions Alexander-Arnold's new role
Alexander-Arnold played in an unfamiliar midfield role for much of the match against Arsenal.
While he again struggled defensively, he was dangerous in attack and set up Liverpool's equaliser by nutmegging Oleksandr Zinchenko before crossing for Roberto Firmino to head the home side level.

Not everyone was impressed by Alexander-Arnold's attacking performance, with former Manchester United defender Gary Neville questioning his midfield role.
"I just don't get it," Neville told Sky Sports.
"Surely it takes longer to teach him as a new central midfielder than to be a better right back?"
Alexander-Arnold believes Liverpool displayed their versatility and resilience against Arsenal and should have claimed all three points.

"We showed a different side to us," he added. "One that we've had in previous seasons, where we get past disappointment and are able to get back into games – and we showed that, so that's a decent sign.
"But we need to be getting three points. No matter whether we're playing top of the league or bottom of the league, three points is our aim and we know we could have got that [against Arsenal].
"We showed a different side to us. We showed that we really wanted to go out there and put a good performance in.
"Even though you're playing probably the best team in the league, we still showed our quality and dominated them for the whole second half and should've won the game."
