Paul Pogba could move to a Premier League side next summer, after two of them joined the race to sing the Manchester United midfielder.
When United signed the Frenchman back from Juventus in the summer of 2016 they broke the world record transfer fee, spending £89 million.
Now it looks like the English side will lose their former youth product for absolutely nothing, for the second time in his career, with his deal running out in the summer.
Though it hasn't been confirmed he will be leaving, it seems unlikely that the 29-year-old will be staying at Old Trafford, considering their current troubles and lack of clarity in a new manager.
According to Sky Sports News, two unnamed teams from the Premier League have made contact over a move in the summer.
The report adds that no formal bids have been made for the World Cup winner yet, but he has held initial talks with the English sides.
Interest in the United midfielder stretches away from the league, with Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain both heavily linked.
PSG could especially be interested in picking up the French star, as they're due to lose his international teammate Kylian Mbappe, who seemed to confirm his departure to the United man.
A return to Juventus has also been talked about, as the midfielder looks set to ping pong between Manchester and Turin for his whole career.
It has been an up and down time at Old Trafford for Pogba since his return, and he's never really hit the heights his talent has hinted at on a consistent basis.
The last couple of years have been beset by injuries, that have seen him miss chunks of the seasons, as United have struggled for form themselves.
As well as problems on the pitch, the four time Serie A winner has admitted that he's struggled with depression in recent years.
Pogba revealed that the problems started when Jose Mourinho was in charge at Old Trafford, and made him doubt himself after being dropped.
