Ryan Reynolds has teased a potentially huge double Wrexham signing after a ‘secret scouting mission’.
Hollywood stars Reynolds and Rob McElhenney took over Welsh side Wrexham back in 2021.
Since then, the Red Dragons’ popularity has grown massively and their results on the pitch have also improved due to the investment from the pair.
Over the last two campaigns, Phil Parkinson’s men have managed to secure back-to-back promotions from the National League to League Two and then to League One.

With the summer transfer window now open, Reynolds has teased a hugely ambitious double signing on his social media.
Posting a picture with Flamengo star Pedro Guilherme and former Paris Saint Germain and Chelsea defender David Luiz, Reynolds wrote: “Secret scouting mission.”
Fellow actors Hugh Jackman and Emma Louise Corrin were also present.

Speaking about Wrexham’s transfer plans, manager Parkinson said: “We are working on one or two things. There is still work to be done in the squad before the season starts, everybody knows that, but I am very pleased with the lads we have brought in so far. They are really strong additions to what we have got and as ever, we are trying to select the players which we feel are right for this group and the club.
“That is a careful selection process because this is quite a unique club to be at for many reasons and I want to make sure that the ones who come in with us are going to integrate quickly with the group but also add something.”
He added: “It’s great that Ryan and Rob are the owners of the club, so it’s important that when someone signs they get a welcome from Rob and Ryan.
“They’re great at that, they’re very engaged, whenever we’ve signed a player or when we sign a player they want to be involved in terms of us explaining why we’re signing the player, and what qualities that particular player brings to the club. Of course, yeah, they want to make them feel welcome because there’s a togetherness about us here at Wrexham and it’s something that we want to continue with.”
