New details emerge of Vinicius Jr contract offer that has 'never been seen before in football' and could force Real Madrid exit

Vinicius Jr has been linked with a sensational move to Saudi Arabia.

New details have emerged of Vinicius Jr's contract offer that has 'never been seen before in football'.

Vinicius Jr has been plying his trade at Real Madrid since 2018 following his transfer from Flamengo.

He took a few years to adapt to European football before becoming one of the world's best forwards.

He scored 22 goals across all competitions in the 2021/22 term, then 23 goals in the following campaign and contributed 24 goals last season.

His existing deal expires in 2027, with the superstar player yet to tie his future to the club for even longer.

Amid talks of a €1 billion contract from Saudi Arabia, Real contacted the 24-year-old's agents to discuss terms over a fresh new deal.

Real are looking to secure Vinicius Jr's services beyond 2027 as Foot Mercato have disclosed new details in the proposed contract offer.

It's claimed the Saudis have made an offer to the Brazilian international with an annual net salary 'never been seen in the world of football'.

The contract offer has been described as 'historic' and would make him the highest-paid player in the world while also having a say recruitment.

Per the report, Vinicius Jr has 'opened the door' to leave Spain to 'try his luck' in the Middle East.

However, sources close to the report claim he wants to join Saudi Arabia from 2026.

The Saudi Pro League have been able to attract some of the biggest names over the years.

Vinicius Jr's countryman Neymar, who played for Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain, is among the high-profile stars to have swapped Europe for Saudi.

Cristiano Ronaldo started the trend before the likes of Karim Benzema, N'Golo Kante, Sadio Mane and Ivan Toney to name but a few followed in the ex-Manchester United star's footsteps.

Saudi officials continue to keep tabs on Premier League stars Kevin De Bruyne and Mohamed Salah, with Vinicius Jr thought to be high on their transfer wish-list, too.
