The Saudi Pro League are reportedly preparing to raid one top European league of two of the best players in the world.
Since making massive waves in the 2023 transfer windows, the Saudi Pro League has attracted some of the biggest names in football, including Karim Benzema, Sadio Mane and, of course, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Although the level of competition in Saudi Arabia may not be quite as high as many of the top leagues in Europe, some players are still making the move East, largely due to the highly impressive wages they are offered to play in the league.

And now, Saudi Arabia will reportedly offer two of the best teams in Europe massive transfer fees to part ways with some of the top talents on the continent.
On Monday, it was reported that the Saudi Pro League were preparing an eye-watering bid of €350million (£294.3m) for Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Jr, with Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF) already in contact with the Brazilian's representatives.
An official bid has not yet been submitted to Real Madrid, but Saudi Pro League CEO Omar Mugharbel has hinted that it's a matter of when, not if, they will make their move.

But in the meantime, the PIF may turn their interest to another La Liga star, as they are reportedly eyeing up a move for Barcelona youngster Pedri.
As is the case with Vinicius, Sport have reported that Saudi Arabia already made contract with the Spaniard's representatives, as they made them aware of their interest during the recent Spanish Super Cup that was played in Jeddah earlier this month.
Pedri would be offered an extremely generous contract should he decide to make the move to Saudi Arabia, which would include him becoming an ambassador for the 2034 World Cup which FIFA recently confirmed would be held in the country.

However, the Saudi Pro League face one massive problem if they hope to sign the midfielder in the near future as, despite his current contract expiring in 2026, Pedri has reportedly already verbally agreed to extend his Barcelona stay until 2030 or 2031.
Should this be the case, then it is likely that Barcelona would not be willing to accept any incoming bids for their star player, and Saudi officials would likely have to meet Pedri's huge €1billion (£840.95m) release clause if they hope to convince him to make the move to the Pro League.
