Real Madrid make stunning move to secure another huge signing hours after Trent Alexander-Arnold bombshell

Real Madrid are pushing for another high-profile signing this summer.

Real Madrid have made a stunning move to secure another huge signing following the bombshell news about Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Real are already plotting moves in the market ahead of the transfer window reopening this summer.

Alexander-Arnold has been a long-term target for the Spanish giants, and it appears the club are closing in on the transfer of the Liverpool man, who is out of contract at the end of the season.

They are in talks over finalising the signing of Alexander-Arnold on a free transfer this summer.

Discussions over the transfer are ongoing as the La Liga outfit look to secure the right-back's services before the start of the 2025/26 campaign.

While a deal is still to be fully agreed, work towards completing the deal is reaching the closing stages, having made him a priority target.

Alexander-Arnold may not be the only high-profile addition as Real are 'pushing' for the signing of another star.

According to Spanish outlet El Partidazo de COPE, Real are now looking to sign Martín Zubimendi from Real Sociedad.

Zubimendi attracted interest from Liverpool last summer, with the player rejecting a move to Anfield.

Arsenal have since entered the race to sign the 26-year-old and are prepared to go head-to-head with their Premier League rivals for Zubimendi.

But Real are pushing hard to acquire his services

Per the report, his agent is listening to offers ahead of the summer transfer window.

Real are willing to meet Zubimendi's £50 million release clause, with the same report stating he would fit under Xabi Alonso's tactics ahead of a potential managerial appointment at the Bernabeu.

The final decision lies with the Spanish midfielder.

This season, he has played 38 games across all competitions, including a Europa League tie against Manchester United, with fans delivering their verdict on the player.

Zubimendi graduated from Sociedad's youth academy before breaking into the first-team.
