Mason Greenwood’s Manchester United departure has put the Old Trafford club’s Sofyan Amrabat deal in doubt.
On Monday, United announced that Greenwood will be leaving the club following an internal investigation into the allegations of attempted rape, controlling and coercive behaviour and assault against him.
The 21-year-old was suspended from United training and matches while the club completed an internal investigation after the Crown Prosecution Service discontinued its case against Greenwood in February.

In a statement, United said: "All those involved, including Mason, recognise the difficulties with him recommencing his career at Manchester United. It has therefore been mutually agreed that it would be most appropriate for him to do so away from Old Trafford, and we will now work with Mason to achieve that outcome."
And according to the Sun, Greenwood’s departure has seen United change their transfer plans, with the club having now prioritised a striker.
United have been strongly linked with a move for Amrabat since last year’s World Cup, with the midfielder having been central to Morocco’s run to the semi-finals.
Serie A side Fiorentina want £34million for the 27-year-old, who has a year left on his contract. Indeed, Ten Hag worked with Amrabat between 2015 and 2017 while both were at Eredivisie side Utrecht.

Amrabat has even been left out of Fiorentina's squad to face Rapid Vienna in the Europa Conference League on Thursday evening, with the Moroccan having not travelled with the squad to Austria and training alone back in Florence.
As per Sky Sports Amrabat is understood to have had his head turned by interest and is not in the right state of mind to play the Conference League play-off first-leg fixture.
However, United could miss out on Amrabat with the club looking to prioritise a forward.
The club also need to raise money to meet Financial Fair Play regulations having spent almost £370million since Ten Hag’s arrival last summer.

United allegedly still hope defender Harry Maguire will depart to West Ham in a £30million deal but he is holding out for a £15million pay-off.
The Old Trafford club were handed a blow last week as Fiorentina director Daniele Prade hinted that United are unable to bid for Amrabat.
Prade told the club's YouTube channel: "The situation is clear, he wants to join a top club and we want to satisfy him.
"But if we receive no offers, he will stay with us. We don't have a player like him in the team."
