Manchester United are looking to boost their options at left-back and have set their sights on a current Premier League player, according to Sky Sports.
United have already made two major signings this summer, with forward Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro joining the club this month.
United signed Zirkzee in a £36.5m move from Bologna before completing a deal worth up to £62m for Yoro to join from Lille.

The 18-year-old defender has made a far from ideal start to his Old Trafford career after being forced off with an injury in United's pre-season defeat to Arsenal on Sunday morning.
Erik ten Hag is now sweating over the fitness of both Yoro and his teammate Rasmus Hojlund, who was also injured in the 2-1 loss to the Gunners.
United are desperate to sign reinforcements and are keen to bolster their options at left-back, a problem position in recent seasons.

Their current first-choice Luke Shaw has struggled with injuries ever since joining United from Southampton in 2014, while Tyrell Malacia missed the whole of last season after undergoing knee surgery.
Sky Sports (via GiveMeSport) claim United are now considering a bid for Crystal Palace left-back Tyrick Mitchell this summer.
Mitchell is entering the final 12 months of his contract at Selhurst Park and has been identified by United's owners INEOS as a potential signing.
The defender, described by coach Stuart English as a 'silent assassin', has made 144 appearances for Palace since breaking into their senior side in 2020.

A full England international, Mitchell has played twice for the Three Lions – with his last appearance coming in a friendly against the Ivory Coast in 2022.
United are reportedly in talks to sign several other players, including Bayern Munich duo Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui.
Meanwhile, they have also been linked with two other Crystal Palace players - Marc Guehi and Adam Wharton.

The Red Devils next face Real Betis on Thursday before another warm-up match against rivals Liverpool on Sunday.
They then face Manchester City in the Community Shield on Saturday before taking on Fulham in their opening game of the new Premier League season on August 16.
