Bernardo Silva and Dani Olmo have both had unique 'Barcelona clauses' inserted into contracts at their respective clubs, it has been reported.
Bernardo signed for City in 2017 from Monaco, and has been one of the star players of the Pep Guardiola era at the Etihad Stadium.
A versatile player that has featured across a range of different roles, the 29-year-old has played over 200 games for City and won five Premier League titles and a Champions League.

But his future looked to be in doubt last year, with reports linking him with a move to Barcelona throughout the summer transfer window.
90min claimed that Bernardo had told City he wanted to leave - and that the club were willing to sell for around £75 million.
Guardiola admitted his desire to keep the Portugal international, before doing so again when links to Barca resurfaced this summer.

But the Spanish giants were unable to match City's fee for the midfielder throughout the transfer saga, and he has remained in Manchester.
Meanwhile, Barca were hoping to sign Dani Olmo on a free next summer, when his RB Leipzig contract expired. However, the Spaniard extended his contract until 2027.
But there is reportedly a way that both players could join Barca next summer for relatively affordable fees.

According to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, midfielder Olmo inserted a 'Barcelona clause' into his new RB Leipzig contract, containing a release clause amounting to €60 million. As the name suggests, it is claimed that only Barcelona can trigger that clause.
Meanwhile, Bernardo agreed to extend his City contract until 2026 - a one-year extension on his previous deal - in August. But Mundo Deportivo claim that he has the same clause, at the same fee, in his deal.
If Silva was to leave the Etihad Stadium next summer, it would bring to an end a hugely successful spell at the club.
And he summed up his feelings towards the club after his contract extension by telling City's official website: "I've had six incredible years at Manchester City and I'm delighted to extend my time here.

"Winning the Treble last season was extremely special and it's exciting to be part of a squad where there is such a hunger and passion. Success makes you want even more, and this Club gives me that opportunity to keep on winning.
"I love the manager, my team-mates and the fans, and hope we can share even more great memories in the coming years."
