Stuttgart manager Sebastian Hoeneß has confirmed that midfielder Wataru Endo is closing in on a move to Liverpool.
Throughout the summer transfer window, it has been well documented that Liverpool have been targetting new midfielders after the likes of Fabinho, Jordan Henderson, James Milner, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade Chamberlain left the club.
To date, they have completed the signings of Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton and Dominik Szoboszlai from RB Leipzig.
Over the last two weeks, the Anfield club have seen Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia reject them for a move to Chelsea.
