Liverpool can sign their perfect Victor Osimhen alternative for just €17.5 million in January, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed.
Earlier this week, the transfer expert quashed reports from Italy that the Reds had agreed a deal with Osimhen to move to Anfield next summer.
In any case, the Nigeria international would have cost Liverpool a staggering €170 million - the price set by Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis during the summer transfer window.

The Reds, therefore, will have to look at other options if they want to sign a new centre forward. And Romano has confirmed that one player could join them for a very affordable price in the context of the current market.
The player in question is Stuttgart star Serhou Guirassy, who has scored an incredible 14 goals in just eight Bundesliga matches this term.
The 27-year-old has already netted the highest seasonal league tally of his professional career - and clubs are understandably taking an interest.
Romano tweeted: "Understand the release clause into Serhou Guirassy contract at Stuttgart is worth... just €17.5m!

"The clause is valid already in January 2024, active in both winter and summer windows as SkyDE reported.
"Guirassy has scored 15 goals in nine official games this season."
The striker scored his latest goal in Stuttgart's 3-0 win over Union Berlin, but was forced off with a thigh injury on 30 minutes.

Reports in Germany have since revealed that the Guinea international will be out of action for several weeks due to the problem.
Upon his return, however, the 27-year-old will hope to continue smashing the goals in - and although reports suggest he is keen to stay at Stuttgart in January, he could still be tempted with a move away.
