Liverpool fans have made their mind up about Trent Alexander-Arnold's potential move to Real Madrid after seeing what just appeared in the Spanish capital.
Alexander-Arnold, 26, is out of contract at the end of the season and will be able to start talks with foreign clubs from January 1, 2025.
The Liverpool man has played an integral part in the club's early season success under new boss Arne Slot - the Reds currently sit top of the Premier League and 36-team Champions League group phase.

However, arguably the biggest negative surrounding the club is the contractual situation of Alexander-Arnold, Mohamed Salah, and Virgil van Dijk – all three are out of contract at the end of the 2024/25 campaign.
Although there is no doubting the ability of Van Dijk and Salah, the ages – 33 and 32, respectively – of the players could be a sticking point in contract negotiations.
However, with Alexander-Arnold at 26 and arguably approaching his peak, losing him, especially without receiving a transfer fee, would be far from ideal for the Reds.

Although the situation is still unclear, Liverpool supporters were shocked when they came across a giant advert of the player in Madrid, posted to X by Anfield Wrap.
The Liverpool defender was pictured alongside model and actress Iris Law for a shoot for fashion brand 'Guess' on a billboard, which was emblazoned on the side of a building located at Plaza Felipe II – the place where thousands of Liverpool fans gathered ahead of their 2-0 win over Tottenham in the 2019 Champions League final held in the city.
What do Liverpool fans think?
Fans were quick to offer their thoughts in the comment section.

One fan said: “If he goes, he goes, [it] won't go down well with LFC fans if he walks away for nothing. I’ve seen us lose better players going back to Rush leaving for Juventus.
“We've always kicked on.”
A second added: “It's obvious he's going, what I'm interested in is when he's gonna announce it.
"And what impact it has on our run-in, given that it won't go down well and the Klopp announcement last season derailed us.”

With a third saying: “It's just advertising for a brand that has nothing to do with football... Move on.”
However, the Liverpool Echo explained how the advert was not linked to any potential move to Real Madrid, with the billboard also seen in Italy and the Netherlands previously.
