Liverpool are reportedly willing to 'make a large investment' to replace Mo Salah should the Reds star leave the club at the end of his contract.
Liverpool currently sit top of the Premier League and, inevitably, Salah has been among the goals once again this term. The Egyptian has netted six times in all competitions since Arne Slot’s arrival to take his overall tally to 217 goals in 359 appearances for the Reds since he arrived from Roma in 2017.
But with Salah turning 33 years old at the end of the season when his contract is due to expire, Liverpool's attentions may already be turning towards potential replacements for the Egyptian.

The former Chelsea man issued the most significant update yet on his future following Liverpool’s 3-0 win against Manchester United at Old Trafford on September 1.
"I had a good summer and had a long time to myself to try to stay positive because as you know it's my last year at the club,” he told Sky Sports.
"I just want to enjoy it and I don't want to think about it. I feel like I'm free to play football, and then we'll see what happens next year.

"No-one at the club has spoken to me about contracts, so I'm just like, 'OK, I'm playing my last season' and see what happens at the end of the season.
"So far, we don't know with which club, but so far, yeah, my last game here with Liverpool. It's not up to me, but nobody talk to me about a contract with the club. We'll see."
And as Liverpool consider their next move with no resolution in sight yet over Salah's future, the Reds are being linked with Real Madrid’s Rodrygo.
Real are reportedly seeking a fee of £134 million to let him leave, according to Fichajes via Football Talk, with the Brazilian still a key player for manager Carlo Ancelotti.

The report suggests the player is relatively happy in the Spanish capital, having played in all nine La Liga games this season. But with Vinicius Jr, Kylian Mbappe, Endrick, and Brahim Diaz all vying for a spot in Ancelotti’s attack, competition for places will continue to be tough.
The Brazilian is contracted to Madrid until 2028, which will no doubt help Madrid’s case in commanding a huge fee.
Ancelotti is a huge fan of the 23-year-old and even suggested he should have been included in the Ballon d’Or list alongside Madrid teammates Dani Carvajal, Mbappe, Jude Bellingham, Antonio Rudiger, Vini Jr, Federico Valverde and ex-Madrid man Toni Kroos.

"He deserved to be there, and I understand that he is upset,” Ancelotti said in September.
"Someone has forgotten what he has done in the Champions League, scoring against [Manchester] City and being important.
"It's a virtue that he's a wild card, that he can play in many positions and always [do] well."
