A journalist has provided an update on Liverpool’s pursuit of West Ham’s Jarrod Bowen, who has been cited as a potential Mo Salah replacement.
Salah scored his third goal of the season in Liverpool’s 3-1 Europa League victory over LASK, while the Egyptian made it 12 competitive games in succession with at least a goal or an assist for the Reds.
Indeed, fans of the Anfield club will be relieved to still have the 31-year-old galloping down their right flank, with Liverpool having rejected a verbal offer for Salah worth up to £150million from Al Ittihad at the end of August.

Talk of Salah’s Liverpool departure has since died down upon the close of the summer transfer window, but behind the scenes the the Merseyside club will be bracing themselves for another Saudi bid in the January window.
One player that Liverpool have been tipped to target should Salah secure a move to the burgeoning Saudi Pro League is Jarrod Bowen.
The 26-year-old has scored three goals and registered an assist this season, and journalist Paul Brown claimed the England international shared "similarities" with Salah.
However, speaking to GiveMeSport, Brown added that it was unlikely he would secure a move to the Reds in the near future.

The reporter said: "I can see similarities between them in what they do on the pitch.
“That being said, I don't think Liverpool have pressed particularly hard to try and get Bowen.
“There doesn't seem to be a groundswell or a movement from the club to try and go for him. I know he's on their list of people that they like.
“But he seems perfectly happy at West Ham right now and I would expect West Ham to have a good season. So I don't think it's a given that Bowen leaves anytime soon."
