Liverpool are reportedly the most credible candidate to sign Paris Saint Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe.
Over the last few seasons, Mbappe has been heavily linked with a move away from the Parc des Princes club.
However, the Frenchman made a last-minute U-turn back in 2022 to reject a move to Spanish La Liga side Real Madrid and ended up signing a new deal with PSG.

With his contract set to expire at the end of the current season, the rumours of Mbappe’s next club will not go away.
According to French news outlet Le Parisien, Liverpool and Madrid are two of the clubs fighting for Mbappe’s signature.
It is believed that the Anfield club are the most credible and dangerous candidate for PSG regarding Mbappe’s future.

The report claimed that Liverpool dream of luring Mbappe to Anfield in what would be a statement signing for the club.
It has also been reported that leaving Paris in the summer would not make much sense for Mbappe as he would not find an environment as tailor-made for him as PSG.
Mbappe has previously revealed that he had held talks with Liverpool over a potential transfer.

He told The Telegraph in 2022: "We talked a little bit. I talked to Liverpool because it's the favourite club of my mum. My mum loves Liverpool. I don't know why, you will have to ask her!
"It's a good club and we met them five years ago. When I was in Monaco I met them. It's a big club."
Mbappe also praised the Reds and manager Jurgen Klopp after they won the Premier League title in 2020: "They have made winning look easy, but the truth is that it is never easy.
"Performances, like they have been having, don't just happen. To be as ruthless as they have been would have come from lots of hard work in training and from having a very good manager."
