Liverpool are set to "reluctantly" accept an offer of “£25-30m” for a promising player, according to reports.
Arne Slot’s side are currently top of the Premier League and the 36-team Champions League group phase after enjoying an excellent first half of the season.
But arguably the Dutchman’s biggest challenge of his short time at the club has been in the lack of transfers and the ongoing contract situations of Mohamed Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk.
The trio are all out of contract at the end of the season and can negotiate a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs now that the January transfer window is open.

Last summer, Liverpool tried and failed to sign Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi with Federico Chiesa the only new player to join the club.
But January will provide another opportunity for Slot, 46, to put his stamp on his side and bring in new players to bolster Liverpool’s hopes of winning the title.
Darwin Nunez has been linked with a potential move away from the club but is another player who could move on in January.
Ben Doak could ‘leave the club’ this month, with the Reds “reluctantly” willing to accept an offer of around £25-30m according to reports from Football Insider.

The outlet also claimed that Crystal Palace and Ipswich Town have seen bids of “around £15m” rebuffed by Liverpool.
Doak, 19, is currently on loan at Championship outfit Middlesbrough and has made 21 league appearances, registering two goals and six assists. Palace are thought to be particularly interested in the Scotland international with the Eagles' sporting director Dougie Freedman seen “watching him in action” on several occasions.
The promising winger joined Liverpool from Celtic in March 2022. He made his first-team debut under Jurgen Klopp during a third-round EFL Cup tie penalty shootout victory against Derby County in November 2022. He then made his Premier League debut in a 3-1 win against Aston Villa on Boxing Day 2022.

However, his progress was halted by a knee injury which kept him sidelined for the majority of the 2022/23 season.
Doak signed a new long-term contract with Liverpool in September 2023.
