Lionel Messi could reportedly be joined by another former Barcelona teammate at Inter Miami.
Back in the summer of 2023, Messi ditched European football for Major League Soccer after leaving Paris Saint Germain for Inter Miami.
Since then, Messi has made a total of 16 appearances across all competitions, scoring 12 goals.

The Argentine legend has also been joined in Miami by three of his former Barcelona teammates, Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba and Luis Suarez.
It has been reported that Inter Miami could bring another one of Messi’s former teammates to the club.
As reported by AS, ex-Liverpool and Barcelona man Philippe Coutinho has been linked with a move to the MLS.

Aside from Inter Miami, it has been claimed that LA Galaxy are also interested in the Brazilian midfielder.
Coutinho is currently playing for Qatari club Al Duhali, on loan from Premier League side Aston Villa.
Speaking recently about his future, the 31-year-old said to Spanish news outlet SPORT: “I only think about the moment. I want to be well, prepare well, play good games, enjoy football. We never know what will happen in the future.
“My name always appears in the newspapers where they speak in every way, good and bad. I try not to look at them and I'm just worried about doing my job well and enjoying it.”

After leaving Liverpool for Barcelona in a deal worth a reported £142 million back in 2018, Coutinho struggled to reproduce the kind of form he showed in the Premier League.
When asked about his time playing for Barcelona, Coutinho said: “Things did not turn out as I imagined, as people expected, as I expected because I am the first to demand myself on the field, I tell myself that I have to give more on the field, etc.
“I tried everything, I have always been very professional and I don't regret anything. It was always my dream to play for Barca and I went there, I enjoyed it, I was able to meet many people, win titles and it will always be in the story of my life.”
