A favourite has emerged in the race to sign Kyle Walker after the Manchester City captain asked to leave the club.
Walker was left out of Man City's squad for their 8-0 win over Salford in the FA Cup on Saturday.
After the cup tie, Pep Guardiola revealed that the 34-year-old asked to leave Man City to pursue 'options to play abroad'.

"Two days ago, Kyle asked to explore the options to play abroad at the end of his career," he said via Sky Sports.
"In his mind, he would like to explore it, to go to another country, to play the last years [somewhere else] for many reasons.
"For that reason, I prefer playing other players whose mind is here."
Walker has enjoyed a legendary career at Man City since his 2017 switch from Tottenham.

He has won an impressive six Premier League titles and the Champions League in their treble-winning campaign.
But his future lies away from the Etihad, with AC Milan hoping to sign him.
That's according to The Telegraph, who claim Milan are 'eager' to recruit Walker and confident of getting a deal over the line.
The Italian giants are hoping to progress a deal next week.

Fabrizio Romano claims Milan will look to complete a free transfer despite the player having 18 months left to run on his existing deal. They hope Man City let him leave for free this month.
The right-back will listen to Milan's proposal as there's also interest from Saudi Pro League sides.
Walker has endured a difficult campaign, having come under criticism for his performance this season.

He's made 18 appearances across all competitions this season.
Guardiola hailed Walker's services at Man City, adding: "We cannot understand the success we've had these years without Kyle. It's impossible.
"He arrived eight years ago with us and we start to win, win, win, win and he has been important for the national team and of course with our team.
"But he has said he wants to explore in his mind and in his heart and wants to explore it. Honestly? I don't know what is going to happen."
