Premier League winner Jamie Vardy could finally be on the move away from Leicester City nine years after leading them to a famous title win.
Vardy turned 38 in January but is regarded as a viable option for Premier League clubs in need of a striker in the summer transfer window.
Despite having Vardy in their ranks, Leicester became the first team in the history of English football to lose eight consecutive home games without scoring a goal when they were beaten by Newcastle United on Monday night.

Their relegation back to the Championship is almost certain and, nearly a decade after his departure was first feared in the afterglow of the title, their talismanic frontman is being linked with a switch away from the King Power Stadium.
Vardy will become a free agent in the summer and, according to former Watford striker Troy Deeney, will be able to find a new home in England's top division.
"It’s a punt when you’re just looking at his age," Deeney told talkSPORT Breakfast.

"But Jamie is in a wonderful position because there’s not many number nines in world football, never mind in the Premier League.
"I could see him doing well at Everton or West Ham."
Both Everton and West Ham pulled away from the relegation battle after changing their managers this season, albeit with a helping hand from Leicester and their comrades in a doomed bottom three.
They're both short of goals from strikers, however, and will undoubtedly be in the market for a striker in the upcoming transfer window.

"Jamie is one of those players and people where you hate him when you’re playing against him but if he’s on your team then you’d love him because he does all the horrible things," added Deeney.
"Let’s just use West Ham as a case study. They’ve got [Niclas] Fullkrug, they’re probably going to try and get another striker and so having Jamie Vardy as the third option or the second option is fantastic.
"You know that as the season goes on there’s going to be rotation and there’s going to be injuries so I think he’ll be a great option for a lot of teams.

“He’s won the Premier League, played in Europe, played for England – that’s a wonderful acquisition to add to your squad."
Vardy is a member of the Premier League's illustrious 100 Club. Only 14 players have scored more than his 143 Premier League goals and only Thierry Henry of Arsenal scored more for a single club.
