Ilkay Gundogan has 'asked to leave Barcelona' before the end of the summer transfer window, according to a report.
Gundogan joined Barca from Manchester City on a free transfer last summer. penning a two-year deal.
He made 51 appearances across all competitions in his debut campaign at his new club.

But the German wants to leave the Camp Nou, having entered the final year of his existing contract.
That's according to Spanish outlet SPORT, who claim Hansi Flick is 'already up to date with his wish to depart'.
The report also claims two clubs are leading the chase to Gundogan's signature.
Galatasaray have expressed an interest, with club president Dursun Ozbek personally wanting to acquire the midfielder's services.

They will have to fend off competition from their arch rivals as Jose Mourinho's Fenerbahce are also keeping tabs on Gundogan's situation.
They have 'assured that if the operation is feasible, they will do everything possible to close the deal'.
But Fenerbahce's failure to qualify for the Champions League could scupper a potential transfer.
A move to Turkey, however, could be a fitting switch as Gundogan's parents are Turkish.

Clubs in Saudi Arabia are monitoring the 33-year-old's situation at Barca, too.
Gundogan enjoyed a glittering career at the Etihad before signing for the Spanish giants.
He spent seven trophy-laden seasons in England, winning five Premier League titles not to mention the Champions League during Man City's treble-winning campaign.

Despite scooping three major trophies in the 2022/23 season, Gundogan left the club in a decision that Pep Guardiola regrets.
A report claimed Guardiola 'noticed' his departure as he missed his presence, his play and his impact.
