Sheffield United fans are worried that Iliman Ndiaye's wife Iaona Ndiaye has accidentally confirmed that the striker is leaving the Premier League club, via Facebook Marketplace.
In the modern age of transfers there's many different ways to announce that a player is joining a club, not all of them hits of course.
Alexis Sanchez's piano playing always comes to mind, perhaps partially because it's basically the best thing he did in his entire time as a Manchester United player.

Burnley have become pretty well known for their transfer announcements too by parodying popular television and films, with the latest using the 2000 hit Scary Movie.
Saudi Pro League champions Al Ittihad tried to put their own spin on the transfer announcement when they signed Jota from Celtic recently.
The Saudi Arabians went for a bizarre video in which manager Nuno Espirito Santo picking the forward out of a pack of cards after seeing him on tv.

Now it seems there's a whole new way to announce a transfer by using Facebook Marketplace, at least accidentally that is.
Sheffield United fans noticed that Ndiaye's other half Iona is selling some stuff on the social media site for a house move, and they believe that means he's leaving Yorkshire too.
"Someone go buy something and ask," suggested one fan.

"He's deffo going France then," added a second.
A third cried: "Finding out your star player is leaving via the Facebook marketplace is the most Sheffield United thing ever ffs."
"So this is how my heart breaks," replied another.
"Off to buy the lot, so I can kidnap him," joked a fourth, or at least we're hoping he was joking.

And another argued: "All this tells me is that if his missus is having to sell ikea furniture off marketplace, then we have not been paying Ndiaye his worth this past year."
Some were more hopeful pointing out that they may be moving to another house or buying a place, having rented and just had a child together.

It's no wonder they're desperate for him to stay after the Senegal international scored 14 goals in the Championship to help them move back into the top tier.
Ndiaye was born in France and was a member of Marseille's youth academy as a child, he has recently been linked with a move back to the club.
