Clubs across the Premier League will be rushing around to get the last pieces of paperwork over the line before the window slams shut on Friday.
We have seen plenty of famous deadline day transfers down the years, with clubs working tirelessly behind the scenes to try and negotiate deals.

Wayne Rooney's move from Everton to Manchester United, Gareth Bale's €100 million switch from Tottenham to Real Madrid and West Ham's double swoop for Carlos Teves and Javier Mascherano are just a few last minute deals that spring to mind.
It remains to be seen which players will be added to deadline day folklore on Friday, with plenty of transfer activity expected to come in the next few days.
But without further ado, here are the results from Football Manager's simulated transfer deadline day.

The biggest deal of the lot was actually recorded the penultimate day of the transfer window, with Napoli striker Victor Osimhen joining Liverpool in a deal worth £86m.
The Merseyside club also landed Flamengo forward Gabriel Barbosa for £28.5m to boost their attacking line.
Elsewhere, Newcastle picked up Real Betis midfielder Guido Rodriguez for £47.5 million. Meanwhile, the day's second most expensive deal saw Portuguese winger join reigning Premier League champions Manchester City for £52m.
Tottenham added Wolves defender Jonny to their ranks for £28m, while they lost Tanguy Ndombele to London rivals Chelsea for just shy of £20m.

Other deadline day deals included Southampton Adam Armstrong's £13m move to Nottingham Forest, Wolves striker Hwang Hee-Chan joined Leicester, Burnely defender Matt Lowton signed for Bristol City and Arsenal defender Cedric Soares left north London for Leicester.
Outside of the Premier League, Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain signed Porto talisman Mehdi Taremi for £41m alongside Benfica's Rafa Silva for £35m.
