Chelsea could offload as many as eight players on transfer deadline day as Mauricio Pochettino looks to trim his bloated squad down to size.
Chelsea have added 12 new players to their senior squad this summer; Nicolas Jackson, Christopher Nkunku, Diego Moreira, Angelo Gabriel, Lesley Ugochukwu, Axel Disasi, Robert Sanchez, Moises Caicedo, Romeo Lavia, Deivid Washington, Dorde Petrovic and most recently Cole Palmer.
Palmer's £42.5m move from Manchester City on Friday took co-owner Todd Boehly's spending to more than £1bn on transfers after less than 18 months in charge of the Premier League club.

His incredible levels of spending have created potential problems for Pochettino, who must cut down his massive first-team squad before the transfer window closes at 11pm on Friday.
Chelsea have already offloaded Romelu Lukaku, who has joined Roma on a season-long loan after spending last season at Inter.
Another player who could be on his way out of Stamford Bridge is Callum Hudson-Odoi, who has reportedly completed a medical with Nottingham Forest ahead of a permanent move.

According to The Mirror, fellow youth team graduate Trevoh Chalobah may be the next to bid farewell to Chelsea.
Forest have submitted a £25m bid for Chalobah, while Bayern Munich have also been linked with the England U21 international.
Tottenham are considering a move for midfielder Conor Gallagher as they attempt to find a potential replacement for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, who could yet join Fulham.
Fabrizio Romano claims Burnley have agreed a deal to re-sign Ian Maatsen on a permanent deal from Chelsea for £32.1m, although the player is yet to agree to the move.

The Mirror claim both Bashir Humphreys and Mason Burstow are both candidates to leave the club.
"Mauricio Pochettino is keen for the duo to stay in West London but late loan offers could potentially change the Argentine’s mind," read their report.
Chelsea could also be willing to offload £55m flop Marc Cucurella, although a move to Manchester United is now dead in the water following the signing of Sergio Reguilon on loan from Tottenham.
Meanwhile, new signing Washington could also be loaned out – just days after joining Chelsea in a £17.2m move from Brazilian club Santos.
