Chelsea may sell three players this January to meet the Premier League’s Financial Fair Play regulations, according to a report.
The Blues have spent over £1billion on new players across three transfer windows since Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital purchased the club from Roman Abramovich in May 2022.
However, with spending sprees across three consecutive transfer windows, Chelsea are looking to balance the books to stay in line with Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations.

Over the past two seasons, the Blues have remained within the rules by selling homegrown talent, including academy graduates Billy Gilmour, Mason Mount, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Callum Hudson-Odoi.
This is because with academy products any transfer fee would 100 per cent be marked as profit on a balance sheet.
And the club may look to continue that trend of selling homegrown talent this window.
It has been widely reported that Conor Gallagher is on Tottenham’s radar, with sections of the Chelsea hierarchy willing to sell the midfielder to balance the books.
Gallagher has been one of Chelsea’s best performers this term, and on several occasions has captained the club in Reece James‘ absence.

TalkSPORT has reported that Trevor Chalobah is another one who could be on his way out, with Bayern Munich said to be admirers of the 24-year-old centre-back. It has been claimed last summer that Chalobah was open to a reunion with Thomas Tuchel at the Allianz Arena.
He has featured 63 times for Chelsea since making his debut in the 2021/22 season but hasn’t appeared this term due to a hamstring injury.
Finally, versatile left-back Ian Maatsen is also facing an uncertain future. The 21-year-old, who can also operate as a winger, helped Burnley win the Championship last term while on loan but has struggled for minutes under Mauricio Pochettino.
TalkSPORT has claimed Borussia Dortmund is a potential destination for the youngster with Chelsea having set a £30million asking price.
