Chelsea are reportedly eyeing a move for one of Paris Saint Germain’s outcasts as an alternative to Moises Caicedo.
Since the summer transfer window opened, Chelsea have been strongly linked with a move for Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Caicedo.
So far, the Stamford Bridge club have had three bids rejected by the Seagulls as they refuse to budge from their £100 million asking price.
As a result, Chelsea could be forced to look elsewhere with the 23/24 season edging ever closer.

Paredes, who won the 2022 World Cup with Argentina is not believed to be in new boss Luis Enrique’s plans.
PSG will want to sell the player this summer in a bid to prevent him leaving for nothing at the end of the season when his contract expires.
In addition, Blues boss Mauricio Pochettino knows the player from their time working together at PSG and will be keen for a reunion.
It is believed that Pochettino even tried to sign Paredes when he was the manager of Tottenham Hotspur.

The 29-year-old spent the 22/23 campaign on loan at Italian Serie A giants Juventus, scoring once and assisting twice in 39 appearances across all competitions.
Juventus had the choice to make the loan deal permanent but chose not to exercise that option. Since then, the Argentine has been linked with the likes of Lazio and Galatasaray.
Chelsea will face Liverpool at Stamford Bridge on 13 August as they begin their Premier League campaign.
