Arsenal and Manchester City are both considering a summer transfer for the same player, having fought over Declan Rice.
Arsenal secured the services of Rice last summer after tabling a club-record £105 million to lure him away from West Ham United.
He had attracted interest from Man City before the star midfielder opted for a move to North London.

And it appears Mikel Arteta and Pep Guardiola will go head-to-head for another player for the second year in a row.
According to The Telegraph, Arsenal and Man City are both keeping tabs on Bruno Guimaraes, who has starred at Newcastle United since his £40 million switch from Lyon.
It's claimed that Guimaraes is 'aware' of Arsenal and Man City's interest, with Paris Saint-Germain also thought to be keen on snapping up the luxurious player at the end of the season.

The Brazil international is believed to have a release clause of around £100 million.
However, clubs could look to strike a deal at a lower price, per the report.
Despite splashing the cash to sign Rice, the Gunners want to bolster their midfield in the summer amid uncertainty over the futures of Jorginho and Thomas Partey.

Jorginho, who has made 34 appearances in all competitions this season, is out of contract at the end of the season, but he could yet agree to a new deal.
As for Partey, he's played just 11 games across all competitions this season, having been blighted with a series of fitness issues. He will have just one year remaining on his contact at the end of this campaign.
Guardiola has also set his sights on strengthening his midfield, having been linked with West Ham's Lucas Paqueta.
Guimaraes, meanwhile, has been at Newcastle since January 2022 and is regarded as one of the best midfielders in the league.

He has played 101 matches for the Magpies, scoring 14 goals.
