Brighton have agreed a stunning deal for Ajax star Mohammed Kudus, according to sensational reports.
The Seagulls broke their transfer record earlier this summer by drafting in Watford's Joao Pedro for just short of £30 million but they are now on the verge of eclipsing it.
The uber reliable David Ornstein of The Athletic says Brighton have an agreement in principle to sign the Ghana international for a fee of £34.5 million.
There is a total agreement between the two clubs and it's said Kudus, a top target for both Chelsea and Arsenal, is close to agreeing personal terms.

After losing midfielder Alexis Mac Allister to Liverpool, manager Roberto De Zerbi was desperate to bring in the 23-year-old, who has scored 16 times in 63 matches in the Eredivisie.
Should a deal be finalised, Kudus will become Brighton's seventh signing of the summer as they prepare for a historic season playing European football.
Notable additions including James Milner and Mahmoud Dahoud, who have both joined on free transfers after their respective deals with Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund came to an end.

Kudus had looked destined to leave to Ajax ever since he rejected a contract extension at April, with his current deal due to expire in 2025.
The former Nordsjaelland man has been capped 24 times by Ghana, scoring seven times - two of which came in the World Cup against South Korea.
Earlier this week Brighton turned down a bid of more than £80 million for star player Moises Caicedo.

Chelsea have been pushing hard to sign the Ecuadorian, tabling four different bids for the midfielder.
Each has been turned by Brighton, who also knocked back the proposal from an unnamed club and are adamant they will not be selling Caicedo.
He signed a new contract, committing himself to the South Coast club until 2027.
