Aston Villa are eyeing a stunning swap deal with Chelsea, according to stunning reports.

Unai Emery is already plotting deals ahead of the summer transfer window reopening after steering his side to Champions League qualification this season.

Villa secured their spot in fourth place in the Premier League table following Tottenham's home defeat to Manchester City in midweek.

And ahead of leading his side in Europe's elite club competition, Emery is lining up a move for Chelsea's Conor Gallagher.

According to reports via Football London, Villa are prepared to offer Jhon Duran for the £50 million-rated midfielder.

Gallagher is out of contract next year and talks around a new deal have stalled ahead of a potential Stamford Bridge departure.

The Midlands outfit are seemingly ready to pounce if the 24-year-old decides to leave his boyhood club.

There is understood to be a good working relationship between the two boards at Chelsea and Villa.

The Blues had expressed an interest in Duran during the January transfer window, but it's unclear whether they are still interested in the forward.

Duran, 20, has bagged eight goals in all competitions this campaign and netted a brace in his team's 3-3 draw against Liverpool.

Gallagher, who played 35 league games last season, has made 36 league appearances this campaign.

Speaking earlier in the season, Mauricio Pochettino highlighted the England international's importance to their success this term.

"He's important because of Chelsea values. He's a product that came from the academy," he said. "Of course he loves the club and he's very committed.

"You can see on the pitch: he runs, he play, he fights. He does everything to try to win. Yes, I think he is a really important player, always the type of player that the coaching staff want, and the team. That is between the club and the player. For me, I don't need to talk too much because it's clear it's not my decision."
