Arsenal have left fans in disbelief after reportedly setting an asking price for one of their fringe players.
During the 23/24 season, the Gunners again mounted a proper challenge to win the Premier League title.
Despite taking the title race to the final day, Arsenal were again left disappointed by Pep Guardiola’s rampant Manchester City team.
Looking ahead to the summer transfer window, it has been claimed that Arsenal are looking to raise funds by selling one of their fringe players.

As per Football Insider’s Connor Humm, who wrote on social media: “Arsenal value Eddie Nketiah at £50m and have set that as their asking price should they sell this summer.”
Reacting on social media, one fan said: “Good luck with that. Jesus Christ.”
Another tweeted: “I genuinely can’t see anyone paying that, as much as I’d love to see it happen!”
A third fan added: “NO ONE is paying that why are we so bad at selling players.”

Someone else wrote: “Let be honest. No team will pay that amount. Max £35m.”
A fifth commented: “In fairness he's not even worth £30m. £20-£25m + add ons would be more realistic.”
Speaking on talkSPORT, former Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan said: “Ultimately if you want to get £40million, you're better off asking for £50million. But is he worth £50million? Pfft, you've got to be joking haven't you?

“There's one thing paying for old rope but this is... you're stretching a bit far. He's not a £50m footballer, I mean, he's lucky to be a £30m footballer and on £100,000-a-week!”
With the likes of Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz above him in the pecking order, Eddie Nketiah has been limited to appearances as a substitute.
In total, the striker made 37 appearances across all competitions for Arsenal during the 23/24 campaign, scoring six goals and assisting three.
