Amadou Onana’s move to Arsenal could be on after a major transfer clue was spotted on Instagram.
On Monday it was claimed that Arsenal are keen on signing Everton midfielder Onana.
Transfer guru Sacha Tavolieri wrote on X, formally Twitter: "Talks intensive currently ongoing between #EvertonFC & #ArsenalFC for Amadou Onana.

"The Belgian midfielder - who has always put his priority to stay in Premier League - is keen on the move. Things could develop quickly…"
The Gunners have been in dismal form in recent weeks, surrendering top spot in the title race and being knocked out of the FA Cup.
In turn, Mikel Arteta will likely be looking to add to his ranks in the coming weeks to reignite their title charge and gather momentum for the Champions League knock-out stages.
Indeed, the same day it was claimed Arsenal may be targeting Onana, the Everton star’s sister and agent Mélissa posted an Instagram story which suggests there may be truth behind claims of interest from north London.

In the story, Mélissa is sitting in heavy traffic at the back of a cab. In the distance, however, is London pub Argyle House, which potentially corroborates the claims she is holding talks with Arsenal.
Manchester United are also reportedly interested in signing Onana this January.
Football Transfers alleged that United have that available funds to bring in one significant addition to Old Trafford in window, with the 22-year-old among those targeted.

United manager Erik ten Hag reportedly wanted to sign Onana instead of Sofyan Amrabat in the summer, but didn't have the transfer budget to complete the purchase at the time.
Ten Hag allegedly remains an admirer of the Belgian's versatility, given he can play anywhere across the backline as well as in defensive midfield, with the club potentially set to reignite their interest.
The publication added that Everton have a long-standing interest in Scott McTominay and a deal involving the two players could benefit all parties.
