Tottenham Hotspur have made the first direct signing between them and Premier League rivals Chelsea in the last 14 years.
Transfer deadline day is in full swing, with Arsenal making their fourth move for a Chelsea player over 30 in the past seven years, signing Jorginho.
It's quite the swing from what they would have been expecting to do today, considering how heavily they went in for Brighton star Moises Caicedo.

That's no doubt the reason that so many of them see the move for the Italian as a huge negative, despite the fact they need backup for Thomas Partey.
Whilst the Blues have been seemingly pretty happy to do business with Arsenal, especially to let their unwanted players go, there has been a lot let traffic from west to north London where Spurs are involved.
There is only four examples of players switching between the two clubs in the entirety of the Premier League era and previously the most recent one was Carlo Cudicini back in January 2009.

However, on Tuesday, Tottenham completed a deal to sign 19-year-old striker Jude Soonsup-Bell, to join their development squad.
The teenager had rejected the possibility of a move to Manchester City, in order to stay in London, and thus breaking a 14 year run of no one moving from Chelsea to Tottenham.
In a statement the club said, "The 19-year-old forward has signed from Chelsea and agreed a deal that will run until June 2025.

"Having joined Chelsea’s youth academy at Under-13 level, Jude progressed through the ranks to make his senior debut in a Carabao Cup fixture against Brentford in December, 2021, after signing his first professional contract earlier in the year.
"In November, 2020, he became the first Chelsea player in 59 years to score four goals in an FA Youth Cup game, helping the Blues overcome Barnsley.
"At international level, Jude has featured for England’s Young Lions across numerous age categories and has appeared for the Under-19s alongside Alfie Devine, Nile John and Dane Scarlett, who is currently on loan at Portsmouth."

Chippenham born Soonsup-Bell only made one appearance for the Blues senior team, and is likely to have seen his path to the first team blocked by Chelsea's ridiculous signings recently.
He is unlikely to be the only incoming at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Tuesday, with Sporting right back Pedro Porro now expected to arrive.
