Tottenham Hotspur's summer transfer business may not be over yet, with the Premier League club having started talks for an Atletico Madrid player.
Spurs' summer transfer business had been done pretty early on, helping Antonio Conte really put them through their paces with the rest of the squad in pre season.

The Italian improved all areas of his team with Richarlison boosting the attack, Yves Bissouma and excellent addition in midfield and Ivan Perisic and Clement Lenglet joining in defence.
Certainly fans of all clubs were excited by the addition of Perisic, with many seeing him as a 'cheat code' on Fantasy Premier League, and the wing back certainly fits perfectly into Conte's system.
Now he could be looking to add yet more experience and talent in that position, with the Telegraph claiming that Spurs are in talks to sign Yannick Carrasco.

Carrasco has a release clause of £51.2 million but it is expected that he would be allowed to leave Diego Simeone's team for far less than that.
Earlier in the summer, Manchester United were linked with the 28-year-old and it's believed that a fee of around £25 million was being spoken about.
A player of such talent and experience at that price would be seen as a bargain for Conte's side and he has the added positive of being extremely versatile.
The former Monaco player, who is in his second permanent spell at Atleti, can play on either side of the pitch and either as a wing back or further up the pitch as a winger.

He has mostly been operating as a right wing back in recent times under Simeone, which would mean competition for Emmerson Royal and Matt Doherty.
Carrasco remains an important player at the Wanda Metropolitano but the club's finances aren't the best, a position that has been overshadowed by the similar issues at Barcelona.
Those problems are the reason why Barca are worried that their rivals aren't currently finding a place for Antoine Griezmann in their starting line up.

The French forward would move on a permanent deal for €40 million if he plays over half the games for Simeone's team this season but is so far being used sparingly.
