L'Equipe report that the club have already held initial discussions with the 24-year-old's representatives over a switch to Paris.
But PSG have yet to make a concrete offer to Man United.
The Red Devils are looking for a forward themselves amid reports linking Cristiano Ronaldo with a move away from Old Trafford.
But Ten Hag has stressed that the player is not for sale, describing the England international as 'really important'.

He said: "He is really important.
"You have seen from the first day I'm in [the club], I've been really pleased [with him]."
The Dutchman added: "Definitely, I don't want to lose him. He's in our plans and he will stay at Manchester United."

PSG boast superstar forwards Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar, but want to strengthen their depth with the addition of Rashford.
He still has a year left to run on his Man United deal with the option on the club's side to extend that by a further 12 months, with Rashford valued at a staggering £120 million.
That's despite his recent form which has slumped as the player endured a difficult campaign last season.
His worrying dip in form continued in Man United's crushing 2-1 defeat to Brighton as he missed a gilt-edged chance in the second-half.

Rashford could keep his place in the Man United XI on Saturday when they resume their league campaign at Brentford.
Will PSG pry him away from Man United before transfer deadline day? Stay tuned.
