Spurs' move for highly-rated defender Pedro Porro has collapsed over an administration fee of around £2.6 million, according to reports.
The 23-year-old full-back, who has made 19 appearances in all competitions for Portuguese outfit Sporting Lisbon this season, has been heavily linked with a move to Antonio Conte's side throughout the January window.
In fact, a £39.5 million fee was agreed between both clubs and a medical was scheduled for Monday.

But in a dramatic turn of events ahead of the window slamming shut on Tuesday, the transfer has reportedly fallen through after Sporting attempted to change terms of the deal.
The Times claim the Primeira Liga side wanted Tottenham to pay around £2.6 million to cover the cost of payment methods to administer the deal.
It appears Daniel Levy and Spurs have now pulled out of the deal – a series of events that has angered fans.

Former Tottenham midfielder Jamie O'Hara says Levy "needs to get out" of the club following the news.
When told the deal is off, he told talkSPORT: “If that’s the case, then Daniel Levy needs to get out of Tottenham. If we don’t get this signing over the line then the fans will go mental.
"It will not be good for him [Levy]. Spurs fans wanted this player and has taken ages to get done.
“If it doesn’t get done and we’re stuck with Emerson Royal until the end of the season, I might as well not bother going to watch them.”

Here's how Spurs fans reacted to the news regarding Porro's future on social media.
One said: "If we lose out on Porro over £2.6m admin fee then you should just close the doors on that stadium because this isn’t a serious football club," while another commented: "You couldn't make it up."
A third wrote: "This makes no sense. Surely everybody knows there is an admin fee. It’s a regular thing in a deal to sign a player. Surely this would have been discussed in the negotiations."

The former Manchester City full-back appeared to wave goodbye to the Sporting fans in an emotional farewell on Saturday night after their 2-0 defeat to Porto in the Portuguese League Cup.
Sporting were also set to bring in former Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin as a replacement for Porro, but these latest could well scupper those plans.
Thoughts on Spurs losing out on Porro?
