But the Bundesliga giants tabled a 'joke' of an offer which was swiftly rejected by the Premier League side.
They reportedly offered a bid in the region of £30 million, which includes some crazy terms and conditions.
It's reported that the guaranteed fee would be £23.5 million and in order for the Reds to bank the remaining £6.5 million, Mane would have to win the Champions League and the Ballon d’Or in each of the three years in his contract.
In wake of Bayern's derisory offer, Spartak have mocked the German club on social media.

The Russian team uploaded a mock letter from Bayern enquiring about Aleksandr Sobolev.
The hilarious letter shows Bayern offering £850 for their star forward.
It also contains some amusing add-ons, with £8.5 million offered if Bayern win Eurovision, £12.5 million should Man United win a trophy and an extra £17 million should Lionel Messi join Real Madrid.

The post has racked up thousands of 'likes' and 'retweets' on Twitter.
Liverpool are thought to be prepared to accept an offer approaching £42.75 million for Mane.
The 30-year-old is viewed as the ideal replacement for Lewandowski, who wants to leave the club this summer.

But it's claimed they would only allow the Polish striker to leave if they can find a striker who is capable of scoring around 30 goals a season.
