He landed in Rome on Tuesday as Roma supporters welcomed him at the airport in wild scenes.
Incredibly, the plane was also piloted by the club's president Dan Friedkin.
Lukaku's move to Roma will be formally completed and signed on Wednesday, per Fabrizio Romano.
He'll once again play under Mourinho, having played together at Chelsea and Manchester United.

Lukaku scored 64 goals in 95 matches in all competitions during his first stint at Inter. He bagged 14 goals last season while on loan at the San Siro outfit.
