Renato Sanches was left out of the Roma squad by Jose Mourinho for their Serie A win over Napoli - and the Portuguese midfielder's cryptic response is telling.
The 26-year-old is currently at the Rome outfit for the season, on loan from Paris Saint-Germain.
However, he has only made nine appearances and registered one goal for the Italian side, with most of his showings coming from the bench.

Recently, in Roma's 2-0 loss to Bologna, Sanches was even taken off by Mourinhoe just 18-minutes after he had been substituted on.
To make matters worse for the Portuguese player, Mourinho gave him the cold shoulder as he was leaving the pitch.
Unlike the clash against Bologna, however, Sanches did not even merit a place on the bench for the game against Napoli, which Roma won 2-0 thanks to second half goals from Lorenzo Pellegrini and Romelu Lukaku.

And following the snub, Sanches has removed all links to Roma from his Instagram bio.
It now simply reads as 'giocatore', which is Italian for a player or gamer.
What's more, the midfielder has also removed his profile picture from his Instagram account, but has left past pictures of when he has been in action for Roma.

It remains unclear what Sanches' future at Roma will be, but given this recent move and his relative lack of game time and impact, it raises the question of whether he will remain at the Serie A side beyond the end of this season when his loan deal expires.
Roma are next in action on December 30 when they travel to Turin to take on Juventus and it will be interesting to see if Sanches features in the squad or not.
