Riyad Mahrez denied Ivan Toney the chance to score his first Al Ahli goal - only for the ex-Manchester City star to produce a miss from the penalty spot.
Toney left Brentford to join Al Ahli for £40 million, with the move officially confirmed earlier this month.
The Saudi Pro League opted to sign the 28-year-old over Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, whom they agreed terms with before terms of the negotiation with the Italian side reportedly changed.
Toney made his Al Ahli debut on Saturday, playing the full 90 minutes in a 1-1 draw with Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr side.

But he had the opportunity to score his first goal, from the penalty spot, during the Asian Champions League clash against Iranian side Persepolis on Monday.
However, Mahrez decided to take the spot kick, even though Toney wanted to take it instead.
But the Algerian winger saw his penalty well saved by goalkeeper Alexis Guendouz, who produced a superb stop to his left to deny him.
You can see the penalty below.
Toney was a surprise exclusion from Lee Carsley's England squad for games against Republic of Ireland and Finland earlier this month.

The striker hadn't featured in any of Brentford's opening Premier League matches, but was a member of England's Euro 2024 squad.
However, Carsley was adamant that the forward's move to Saudi Arabia would not rule him out of future squad selections.
"We've got access to the games, so I'll definitely be following his progression out there," he said.
"He's definitely not ruled out. We have to be mindful.

"I've got a perception of the football out there, but I've not been out there and seen it. So I think it would be reckless to rule somebody in or out - he's definitely not ruled out. I would like to go and sample and see what the football's like out there."
