Cristiano Ronaldo has called not one but TWO of his former teammates to convince them to join him at Al Nassr.

It comes after Al Nassr lost to Al Hilal in the Saudi King's Cup final last Friday.

Ronaldo broke down in tears after the result and has reportedly reacted by making recruitment calls.

According to Spanish outlet Marca, Ronaldo directly contacted former Real Madrid teammates Nacho and Casemiro to convince them to sign for the Saudi Pro League side.

After a trophy-less season, the Portuguese superstar is hoping his side reinforce during the summer transfer window ahead of the new campaign in Saudi Arabia.

And he's identified experienced duo Nacho and Casemiro, who both face uncertain club futures.

Nacho is fresh off winning the Champions League following Real's 2-0 victory over Borussia Dortmund at Wembley Stadium last weekend.

His contract is set to expire this summer as he looks set to leave the Spanish capital after a stellar spell.

He has been linked with a move to the MLS, but the 39-year-old forward wants the 34-year-old to reunite with him in the Middle East.

The versatile defender has played an impressive 364 games for the La Liga giants and has won an array of honours.

As for Casemiro, he has been the subject of intense transfer speculation.

He could be a part of Sir Jim Ratcliffe's Manchester United clear-out this summer.

The veteran midfielder has been previously linked with Saudi Arabia and would add a wealth of experience to the Al Nassr side, having represented Real and Man United during his decorated career.

Ronaldo played with both Nacho and Casemiro and wishes to call them teammates once again.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner is among the club's foreign players, which also includes Sadio Mane, Aymeric Laporte, Marcelo Brozovic, Talisca, Alex Telles and David Ospina.
