James Milner brilliantly mimicked Mohamed Salah's penalty run up so that he could hit the edge of the box with perfect timing.
Salah scored in Liverpool's 3-1 win over Manchester City in the Community Shield on Saturday.
He put his side back in the lead after Julian Alvarez cancelled out Trent Alexander-Arnold's opener.

A couple of days removed from Liverpool's victory; a fan noticed Milner copying his teammate's run up.
Twitter user @FPLEchidna shared a clip of Salah scoring, accompanied with the caption: "I just noticed how Milner mimics Mo’s run up so that he hits the edge of the box with perfect timing."

Fans online believe Milner would've been in a primed position for a rebound had Salah's effort been saved by Ederson.
One Twitter user wrote: "Interesting Salah shoots low and hard on the side Milner is on as well. If Salah shoots high or to the other side this is significantly less effective/relevant. Does Milner always pick this side? I wonder how aware of Milner's run Salah is before taking the penalty."

A second tweeted: "Wow! Good spot! He would've been right there for a follow up. Do you think that means he knew Mo was aiming right?"
A third added: "I expect this is something that has genuinely been worked on so he gets to the ball quicker than any other."
A fourth commented: "He was ready to tuck in the rebound."
