Thiago Alcantara provided a much needed moment of magic for Liverpool on the final day of the Premier League season, in a must win match against Wolves.
Liverpool knew they had to better Manchester City's result on the final in order to win what would be an unlikely league title, with City facing Aston Villa.

Jurgen Klopp's side took a very surprising early knock as Pedro Neto put the visitors to Anfield 1-0 up in just the third minute, with cheers at the Etihad Stadium greeting news of the goal.
However, Liverpool haven't got themselves to the verge of a potential quadruple by giving up and Sadio Mane got them level in the 24th minute.
The goal came via Thiago's assist, as the midfielder showed off his silky smooth skills by knocking a first time backheel into the path of his teammate.
Mane ran onto the ball, beating the defenders' offside trap, and shot past Jose Sa, as he got a hand on it, to make it 1-1 and give the Reds a chance at the title again.

Whilst the goal might have been relatively insignificant at the time, it soon became extremely important in the title race, as City went behind at home.
Matty Cash's headed goal in the 37th minute, combined with Liverpool drawing at Wolves, suddenly put the two teams level on points, going into the final 53 minutes of the season.
Pep Guardiola's side continued to lead on goal difference but suddenly an extra goal for the home side at Anfield would put the Reds top of the table again.
Nerves certainly started getting the better of Guardiola's side as passes began going astray and the weight of the occasion may have been playing on their minds.
