Sadio Mane has explained his decision to leave Liverpool, saying it didn't take him too long to pick Bayern Munich.
The German giants are on the verge of completing the signing of Mane in a deal worth a reported £35.1 million.
He was pictured in a Bayern training shirt as he underwent his medical on Tuesday.
And the Senegalese international has now shed light on his switch to the Bundesliga club, admitting he was determined to make the move happen once he heard about their interest.

"When my agent first told me about Bayern’s interest, I was immediately excited," he told BILD.
"I saw myself there right away. For me it was the right club at the right time.
"It’s one of the biggest clubs in the world and the team is always fighting for every title. So, for me it was a very good idea and the right decision to come here."
Asked about his decision to join Bayern, Mane replied: "My agent told me that there were enquiries from other clubs. That’s part of the business.

"But I got the feeling right away when Bayern presented their plan to me. I found myself in Bayern’s plan more than anyone else."
Mane, who won the Champions League with Liverpool in 2019, was asked whether he will guide his soon-to-be new team to a European final.
"I don’t want to say no," he said.

"Every kid wants to win the Champions League, every football player in the world. I’m with a very, very competitive team now.
"But it’s still a bit early to talk about the Champions League final, we haven’t even played a game together yet. Nevertheless, we will give everything to get into the final."
The 30-year-old is set to call time on his prolific and trophy-laden six-year spell at Anfield.
He scored 120 goals during his time at the club as he plans to make his mark in Germany's top flight.
