Araujo received treatment on the pitch and was checked on by centre back partner Eric Garcia as well as Celta forward Iago Aspas.
In fact, it was Aspas who alerted the referee to Araujo's condition and the Spain international stayed close as he received treatment.
Both Araujo and Gavi initially seemed fine after the collision, but that quickly changed when the former hit the deck at the Camp Nou.
