Fans are convinced the 'Riyad Mahrez theory' is TRUE following his penalty miss against Borussia Dortmund.
Manchester City fired blank against Dortmund as they were held to a goalless draw in their Champions League clash on Tuesday.
But the Blues could've returned to England with all three points had Mahrez converted his penalty in the second-half.

Erling Haaland, who scored a penalty in his side's Premier League win over Brighton last weekend, was substituted at the break so Mahrez stepped up.
However, he fluffed his lines from the spot as Gregor Kobel saved his effort.
The Algerian winger has now missed a whopping 10 of his 32 career penalties.

And fans are convinced his theory regarding penalties is true that he only scores them when his team are in the lead.
One Twitter user wrote: "It's pretty evident that the Mahrez theory is true. The guy cannot score even if his life was on the line but will comfortablly come and statpad in an already won match. Smh."
A second tweeted: "That Mahrez theory might be true."
A third added: "Nah this Mahrez theory might be true... no way he misses that if it’s 3-0."
Under Pep Guardiola, Man City have missed a staggering 25 penalties and the Spaniard admits it's a 'problem'.

He said: "Of course, it's a problem. We have missed 24 or 25 penalties since I've been here - most of them in the Champions League. It's too much.
"I always admire the courage to take them, but of course we miss a lot of penalties."
Guardiola added: "We missed one in Copenhagen and here as well. In this competition it's fine margins.
"In this situation, I admire the courage (of Mahrez). If next time, he feels it, I admire the courage (and) he will take it."
